ABOUT US
Asset Tax Consulting Group, Inc. (ATCG) has been providing a broad range of property tax consulting services to the commercial real estate investment community for more than twenty-five years, serving all commercial property types in multiple jurisdictions throughout the western United States and along the East Coast.
We pride ourselves on the development and maintenance of long-term client relationships, many of which have spanned periods as long as 20-25 years.
Every client property receives the undivided attention of a principal in the firm, from property inspection (personally touring and photographing every client property) and data gathering, to personal meetings with the Assessor representative to the presentation of contested cases before Assessment Appeals Boards. There is no delegation of any client’s properties to junior staff members.
We have a competitive and flexible approach to fees depending on the nature of the assignment. Most annual appeal filings are handled on a contingency fee basis, while flat fee and hourly rate approaches are often used in situations involving new construction and change of ownership valuation work.
Our backgrounds in commercial property operations (development, brokerage, property management and consulting) give us a unique ability to identify and understand complex real estate valuation issues and to research and advocate for them with exceptional strength and persuasiveness.
Our approach to assessing authorities is characterized by a combination of quiet and persistent aggressiveness and a respect for the individuals with whom we interact. We recognize that we, and especially our clients, rely on positive relationships with these individuals, often over many years, for optimum assessment outcomes.
We have always been committed to providing clients with frequent and timely communication: written reports and updates on the status of appeals, periodic face-to-face meetings and instant response to emails and telephone calls.
